  1. These are gorgeous! Do you know what they are called? Never seen these before.

    • These are fortnight lilies and are a relatively common garden plant here in the Bay Area. They do, indeed, bloom every fortnight–IF the gardener takes care to deadhead dead blooms after their 20-30 hour blooming period.
